HISTORY
David Tran started Huy Fong Foods after immigrating from Vietnam on the Huey Fong freighter. Starting out pepper-sate was filled into baby food jars and delivered by family members on bicycles.
After several years of a simple production process and supply chain, David Tran kicked it up a notch and opened a 5,000 Sq. foot facility and began producing more than just the pepper-sate sauce he introduced Sriracha, Chili garlic Sauce, and Sambal Oelek.
